• Retinal vs retinol — what’s the difference?

  Retinal (retinaldehyde) sits one step closer to retinoic acid than retinol on the conversion pathway, which is why it’s often described as faster-acting. Ours is encapsulated at 0.1% for comfort and stability.

• Will it peel or sting?

  It’s buffered with Niacinamide, Panthenol, Centella, and Bisabolol for a comfort-first experience. Mild adjustment can still happen with any retinoid — start slow and moisturize.

• Can I use it with SHOREL Niacinamide or C-E-F?

  Yes. Use C-E-F in the morning under SPF. Use 11X Retinol at night. Niacinamide Opulence can sit under it if your skin tolerates layering, or on alternate nights.

• Why opaque airless packaging?

  Encapsulated retinal is light- and oxygen-sensitive. Clear droppers are prohibited for this formula.

• How long does 30ml last?

  With 2–3 pumps a few nights per week, typically 8–12 weeks depending on frequency.
